Flowers

So I really want to make the flowers for the bridesmaids and with the help of the new Cricut I got for Christmas I am hoping to emulate what this bride did. We will see if I have the time/patience though.

Full Steam Ahead

My awesome Bridesmaids and I shared brunch this weekend at my sister/Maid of Honors home. It was a great way to relax and brainstorm about the wedding.

A Place to get Hitched!

Zack and I have chosen the American Visionary Art Museum (www.avam.org) for our upcoming nuptials. It is beautiful and quirky just the way we like it.

The museum is located in Baltimore and is surrounded by unique buildings and a lot of greenery. There is also a ferry that takes you across the water from the inner harbour to where the museum is located. Yay for boats :)

The location for the ceremony has a backdrop of Fifi the Pink Poodle and a beautiful Hot Air Balloon sculpture that floats above our heads.

The reception will take place two floors above in a giant brick hall. It is really a beautiful empty space that will look amazing covered in all of our color.

Here are a couple more photo from places around the museum that I am sure will make their way into our wedding album :)

Can't wait to see you all there :)

Let the Coundown Begin (unless you're Liz because then you already have)

Well the biggest hurdle has been overcome. Zack and I have finalized the venue and have chosen a date for the wedding. We had to go earlier than we had hoped due to Jewish Traditions that require that the ceremony start after sundown. So with daylight savings occurring next year on March 11th we chose (drum roll please) March 10th to seal the deal :) It is nice having a date to look forward to now and also to make a schedule to get things done.

Bridesmaid Dresses

Probably a little early but I did pick out the bridesmaid dresses. I am not sure that everyone will love them but I know that they will look amazing on everyone and they are dramatic and unique which I love. I am going to hopefully be able to add a color sash around the waist so that each person has a different color. We will see if that turns out though. Might have to opt for colored bouquets and accessories. Anyway, here is the dress:
